All Kedem skin care products are Paraben-free. Parabens is a very common preservative used by many (if not most) cosmetic products. The most popular types are methylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben (or a combination of the three). Over the past decade serious questions have been raised regarding the safety of this commonly used preservative. Scientific studies have shown possible and alarming links between parabens and breast cancer. Parabens has the ability to mimic estrogen which further raises concerns over the increasing prevalence of early puberty in girls. Whilst further studies are still underway to ascertain and explain these links and to conclusively established whether parabens do or do not promote breast cancer, consumer groups internationally have been pressurising cosmetic companies to give us the use of parabens. The low cost and effectiveness of this preservative that have been used for decades causes many cosmetic companies to refuse or delay the process of moving to safer alternatives.

All Kedem products are completely Paraben free and instead opts for paraben alternatives such as grapeseed oils, potassium, tea tree oils etc.

No Animal Ingredients or Testing
Kedem products do not contain any animal ingredients. Collagen used in it's anti-aging products are marine collagen manufactured from sea weeds and alg a and does not contain any animal by-products.
